We are thrilled to share an important update about the growth and evolution of our football organization. In recent years, the dedication and hard work of our previous administration have resurrected our football program from the ashes, breathing new life into what we all cherish. Our newly elected board members are now at the helm, inspired and ready to steer us towards a bright future, armed with a vision that honors our collective aspirations and is inclusive or all young athletes within our boundaries.
In our quest to shape the next chapter of our journey, we engaged in meaningful conversations with community members. Your invaluable feedback prompted us to reflect deeply on the importance of history, tradition, territory, and the geographical reach of our Pop Warner family. After thorough deliberation, we concluded that a new identity was essential to reflect our growth and aspirations accurately.
With great excitement, we announce our transition from Torrey Pines Pop Warner to Del Mar Coastal Pop Warner. This rebranding not only captures the essence of our expanded community but also sets the stage for the exciting developments ahead.
An exciting part of our rebranding journey is the selection of a new mascot that embodies our spirit and values. We believe that our mascot should resonate with our athletes, families, and the wider community, symbolizing our collective identity and aspirations. Therefore, we invited our Families to participate in the voting process to choose a mascot that reflects the strength, courage, and unity of Del Mar Coastal Pop Warner.

The Del Mar Coastal Pop Warner community voted, and the Bears won by 61.5%, out of 52 respondents, Coastal Bears represents our resilience, integrity, respect and strength, it invokes local and stateside pride. We are the Coastal Bears!
