TACKLE FOOTBALL
Del Mar Coastal Pop Warner offers Age-Based 11-Man Tackle Football for ages 7 through 14 years old.
The age of the participant on July 15th, 2026 will be the Age Division they will be eligible to be placed in.
To verify age, A COPY of a valid Birth Certificate is required to be provided to Del Mar Coastal Pop Warner.
PLEASE NOTE: IT IS NOT GUARANTEED THAT ALL AGE DIVISIONS WILL BE FORMED.
2026 AGE-BASED DIVISIONS
NOTES:
- A child’s age on July 31 is his/her age for the season.
- Two-point stance for all linemen must be used in the following levels of play: TM, MM, JP, PW, 6U, 7U, 8U, 9U.
- No kickoffs permitted in the following levels: TM, MM, JP, PW, 6U, 7U, 8U, 9U.
TEAM SIZE:
- The MINIMUM players per team is 16 players.
- The MAXIMUM players per team is 35 players.
- Should a division/team have less than 16 players registered the division/team will not be eligible for game play until the minimum number is met.
- Should a division have more than 35 players registered a WAITLIST will be created, and waitlisted players will not be rostered for a team until the MINIMUM players per team is met.

SEASON DATES:
- Practice Begins as early as JULY 15, 2026.
- MANDATORY Player Certification due on August 9.
- Games begin on August 16.
- No games on Labor Day Weekend.
